Hi, I’m Tony Partis, born and bred in Essex. I live on the periphery of London . Back in 1980 I cut 4 tracks for 2 singles, under the name of Silicon Fish-both bombed. Despite that I was offered a 2 year record deal with Chrysalis Records. I declined,as having 2 young daughters, the risks out-weighed the outside chance of success.

 

I guess I had my feet on the ground and no false sense of ego ! My impetus to write deserted me until, 25 years later, I was washing up and gazing out of the window ( a typical image of a Country Rock Star ! ) a lyric and melody came to me ! I called to my wife “Listen to this. Have you heard it before?” “No” she unenthusiastically replied. However, undeterred I  began writing again!

 

From that day, around 6 years ago, I’ve written about 80 songs ! The majority of my songs are written about life. My ‘influences’ range from Country to the real R n B /Soul. However, my interest is eclectic –a quality song remains a quality song! So, the moral of this tale is, start washing up! You may find the bubbles ‘n hot water inspiring !

 

Wye Creek Music have released a few of my songs including “Gotta go down to Nashville” which  for me,  would be stretching credibility as London is the extent of my travelling!
