The album  took shape mid-2011. I had made up my mind I wanted to make a full album,,  my other releases all being mini albums or EP’s,

 

The title track  ‘bridge of dreams’ came to me during a music festival in early May, one which I may add I had never been to before. I arrived at the festival and I had to cross a bridge to get to the festival site, the same bridge I had dreamt of some months before .It was During that festival that the album title and later the song its self were born.

 

The album contains 12 tracks and is a mixture of styles which can be roughly termed roots. A bit of folk /acoustic some jazz and blues influences, nothing pure or trad.

 

Some of the songs are personal others are not so if at all, but everyone one of them  followed me over the bridge of dreams.
